San Francisco

I'm Julia 👋

A generalist designer with 6+ years experience across web and mobile apps, most recently at Warner Music Group.

I've spent most of my career building products that help people connect over the things they love. I’m also a big believer in using data to help steer design decisions and guarantee they result in measurable outcomes for both the user and the business. My other interests include design systems, accessibility, and AI-empowered workflows.

Vibecoding a bucket list app

With the help of Claude Code, building a React web app from scratch; currently in progress.

A creative at heart, with a curiosity and passion for making things.

Most of my career has been spent designing customer-facing apps and websites in the arts and music space, combined with some back-office tooling and workflow systems work.

I also have a background in design systems and data-led growth work, initiating and running growth experiments. I’ve learned that speed, good craft, and accessibility don't have to fight each other—when you get them all working together, both user and business wins.

I don’t shy away from ambiguity or complexity, and am a big believer in working openly and cross-functionally (especially in today’s AI landscape). Having long had an interest in front-end coding, I’ve embraced tools like Cursor and Claude to help me iterate and experiment faster.

Outside of work I’m a maker of many things, from clothing, to furniture, to jewelry. I only moved to San Francisco last year, so when I'm not learning a new craft, I'm usually out exploring all that the area has to offer.
